Midwxst's output has been amazing since he first broke out in 2020, releasing 3 EPs in just two years. Now, he's back with a fourth one, titled better luck next time. This 9-song project features numerous tracks, which take listeners on a journey. Midwxst explains how his brilliant track 'Step Back' is special to him as he recorded this song off his "laggy ass laptop and forcing the CPU to push through the recording". We’re extremely grateful that it did as this single is an easy favourite from the EP, due to the melodic tone, which compliments the edgy production perfectly through this artists use of autotune. The fact that Midwxst was able to produce such a quality track whilst still studying is a testament to his commitment to his art and we cannot wait to see how this new artist will continue to develop. -Shanice L
